Die eerste 5 jaar noemen ze zelfs ‘een kritische periode’ omdat er in dan een aantal heel belangrijke zenuwbanen worden gevormd. En, we weten ook dat muziek de enige activiteit is die verschillende delen van de hersenen tegelijk stimuleert, dus ook de spraak- en taalgebieden.

Maar dat is niet alles! Muziek verbindt ook mensen, ook ouder en kind, en heeft ook een belangrijk effect op de emotionele ontwikkeling en vroege communicatie.

Met het BabyBeats™vroegbegeleidingsprogramma ga je op een hele leuke, ontspannen manier thuis aan de slag met muziek. Zo help je jouw kind bij het ontwikkelen van hun hersenen en vroege communicatie!

De app bestaat uit 2 delen: Ga naar de ‘Baby’ sectie als je baby nog heel jong is en hoorapparaten draagt, of als ze wachten op hun cochleaire implantaten. Of ga naar de ‘Peuter’ sectie als uw kind zijn/haar hoortoestellen of CI’s al langere tijd draagt.

What can you do as a parent if you learn that your child has a hearing loss?

They even call those first 5 years "a critical period" because a number of very important nerve pathways are formed in it. And, we also know that music is the only activity that stimulates different parts of the brain at the same time, including the areas of speech and language.

But that is not everything! Music also connects people, including parent and child, and also has an important effect on emotional development and early communication.

The BabyBeats ™ early coaching program gives you a fun, relaxed way to get started with music at home. This way you help your child develop their brains and early communication!

The app consists of 2 parts: Go to the "Baby" section if your baby is very young and wearing hearing aids, or if they are waiting for their cochlear implants. Or go to the "Toddler" section if your child has been wearing his / her hearing aids or CIs for a long time.
